The full-day trip to Vienna is a nice opportunity to visit the capital of the former Hapsburg Empire and a modern metropolis.

The history of Vienna begins in the first century AD as a frontier settlement erected by the Romans on the site of the present-day city center. In the Middle Ages Vienna developed into a significant trading metropolis founded primarily on the trading routes for amber and salt. In 1360, under Rudolf II, construction of the Stephansdom began and five years later was founded one of the first universities in Europe. In the 18th century, during the reign of Maria Theresa, Vienna became a political center of the biggest empire in Europe and at the same a cultural city where lived Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven.

In the second half of the 19th century, during the reign of Franz Joseph and the beautiful Sissi, Vienna became a truly modern city. It became home for figures such as J. Strauss II, Brahms, Mahler, Klimt, Schiele, Zweig, or Freud. To that time falls the beginning of the traditional coffee houses that still typify the face of Vienna today.

After arriving to Vienna you will have a grand sightseeing tour by car/minibus, during it you will see the most important places and buildings (Opera house, Albertina Museum, St. Stephan´s cathedral, Hofburg – the former imperial palace, Town Hall, Parliament House, Ring, Prater etc.).
